Founded in Mexico City on the 12th of October, 1916, Club América - also commonly known as Las Águilas (The Eagles) - is a Mexican football club currently managed by André Jardine. They compete in Liga MX and play their home matches at Estadio Azteca, which at full capacity can hold 87,523 fans. The 24-25 Club America kit is sponsored by Nike and features a club logo unveiled in 2017, depicting an outline of both American continents within the club’s initials.
