Fondation Recherche AlzheimerThe Alzheimer’s Research Foundation was created in 2004. The foundation is located at the Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital in Paris and its mission is to support research on Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders and to advance knowledge on the subject. The Foundation provides financial support to teams of excellence in France and Europe whose main objectives are the development of early diagnosis and effective treatments. The Foundation also organises the Alzheimer’s Talks, conferences for the general public, in order to share the latest therapeutic data and future perspectives on Alzheimer’s disease. Every year, around World Alzheimer’s Day on 21 September, the Foundation receives support from long-standing partner LNA Santé and from FC Nantes with LNA Santé donating up its spot on the left sleeve to highlight the great work of the Foundation. Créée en 2004, la Fondation Recherche Alzheimer est une fondation reconnue d’utilité publique située au sein de la Pitié-Salpêtrière à Paris. Elle a pour mission de soutenir la recherche sur la maladie d’Alzheimer et les maladies apparentées et de faire évoluer les connaissances sur le sujet. La Fondation apporte son soutien financier à des équipes d’excellence en France et en Europe ayant pour objectifs principaux la mise au point d’un diagnostic précoce et des traitements efficaces. La Fondation organise les Entretiens Alzheimer, conférences grand public, afin de partager les dernières données thérapeutiques et les perspectives d’avenir sur la maladie d’Alzheimer. Chaque année, autour de le Journée Mondiale de la maladie d’Alzheimer du 21 septembre, LNA Santé, partenaire de longue date des Entretiens Alzheimer et le FC Nantes soutiennent la Fondation : à l’occasion d’un match, le logo LNA Santé, situé habituellement sur la manche gauche du maillot des Jaune et Vert, laisse place à celui de la Fondation Recherche Alzheimer.
