Unveiled and showcased at the Pinacoteca di Brera on the 5th of February, 2024, for the 107th edition of the Giro d'Italia, this Maglia Rosa has been signed by the world-renowned Italian cyclist Vincenzo Nibali. Its design pays tribute to the memory of a legendary Italian football team from the 1940s, all of whom lost their lives in the Superga air disaster, with a quotation on the collar that reads: “'Grande Torino 1949 - only fate could beat them.” The Maglia Rosa will be accompanied by an official certificate of authenticity issued by Castelli, the jersey's manufacturer and premium cycling brand.
