Stayen wall paintingsStayen is STVV’s home. And so the club wants the stadium to ‘breathe’ football. That is why STVV invests the proceeds of this auction in the decoration of Tribune Oost. In the upcoming period, the club will organise an election of the best players from its history, spanning the past (almost) 100 years. They will then decorate the five entrances to their family stand with murals of their favourite players. These atmospheric murals not only provide a nostalgic feeling for the adult fans, but will also let the youngest Canaries become familiar with the rich football culture of the club. This way, STVV’s past lives on in the future. Stayen is STVV’s thuis. En dus wilt de club dat het stadion voetbal ‘ademt’. Daarom investeert STVV de opbrengst van deze veiling in het verfraaien van Tribune Oost. De komende periode organiseert de club een verkiezing van de beste spelers uit de geschiedenis, gespreid over de voorbije (bijna) 100 jaar. Vervolgens decoreren ze de vijf ingangen van hun familietribune met muurschilderingen van de favoriete spelers. Deze sfeervolle muurschilderingen zorgen niet alleen voor een nostalgisch gevoel bij de volwassenen fans, op deze manier geraken ook de jongste Kanaries vertrouwt met de rijke voetbalcultuur van de club. Zo leeft het verleden van STVV verder in de toekomst.
