The Naoberschap United FoundationThe Naoberschap United Foundation offers a variety of projects in the Emmen community/ From a healthy breakfast, where children eat breakfast with the FC Emmen players, to the ‘Scoor een Boek’ project, where children are encouraged to read as many books as possible. But the FC Emmen Street League should not be forgotten either. This is a project in which children receive football training on pitches in the community and then participate in a social workshop with topics such as pocket money management, healthy food and bullying. In addition, we guide people with a distance to the labour market through various pathways to work. We organise activities for the elderly who could use some company. But also promoting sport among people with a disability is a wonderful example of Naoberschap. The Walking Football team of FC Emmen (also known as the OldStars) is a wonderful example of how you can bring people over 60 to FC Emmen and get moving at the same time. In short, we are there for everyone who needs that little push to get the ball rolling again.
