The proceeds raised will support „leuchte auf“, a foundation with legal capacity (rechtsfähige Stiftung) which was formed in 2012 by Borussia Dortmund. Its objective is to support charitable projects through financial and material resources or intellectual contributions. It focuses primarily on project partners in Dortmund and the surrounding region. The foundation works closely with the BVB fans, the City of Dortmund and social institutions in order to leverage their resources to great effect.
