This suit was worn during the 19th stage of the Tour de France, in which the riders had to take on the Col de Vars, the Cime de la Bonette and Isola 2000 at high altitude, with all three climbs peaking at over 2,000m above sea level. On Isola 2000, Rodriguez slipped back from the Yellow Jersey group and dug deep to maintain his sixth place overall ahead of the last two stages.
