A young star in the making. Donated to the auction by former teammate Hans Vanaken who directly received the shirt from de Ketelaere, this strip was issued by AC Milan during the midfielder’s debut season in 2022-2023.
Although this shirt is highly likely to have been match worn as we have communicated with the player with whom it was swapped, we cannot guarantee this and therefore it is listed as match-issued.
This shirt has been donated to raise money for Stop Darmkanker, a charity that focuses its resources on curing colon cancer. The auction is part of ‘de Ruiltocht’, a feature in which Belgium TV presenter Evert Winkelmans visits ex-football players to swap shirts.
