Seedorf

A mercurial talent and the complete midfielder, Clarence Seedorf is one of the most decorated Dutch players ever to grace the pitch and the only player to have won the Champions League with three different clubs. Worn for the 0-0 group stage draw versus Belgium at the 1998 France World Cup, this shirt was kindly donated by Red Devils player Mike Verstraeten, who swapped shirts with the midfield maestro after the final whistle.

This shirt has been donated to raise money for Stop Darmkanker, a charity that focuses its resources on curing colon cancer. The auction is part of ‘de Ruiltocht’, a feature in which Belgium TV presenter Evert Winkelmans visits ex-football players to swap shirts.
