Movistar Team | Team Presentation Tour de France 2023
This jersey was worn during the Tour de France 2023 indoors and outdoors team presentation. Because of the rain, the riders wore a jacket over their jersey during the team presentation outside. Not only is the ’Iceberg” kit a high-quality jersey with an innovative and differentiating design, but it is also the most sustainable kit ever worn by a team on the Tour. Each kit has at least 60% of fabrics from fibers made from recycled plastics (bottles, fishing nets, surplus production).

For bundling to occur, the following criteria must be met:Movistar Team, Gobik and Telefónica joined forces to launch a new clothing collection, with the name ‘Iceberg’. Incorporating a predominantly white hue into his jersey, linked to the blue pattern that dominates the team’s main design, and adding white seams to the shorts, ‘Iceberg’ represents the ice blocks of the oceans, endangered by the current climate crisis. This way Movistar Team, Gobik and Telefónica want to raise social awareness for the protection of seas and oceans and raise funds for Ecomar Foundation, a non-profit organisation founded in 1999 by Theresa Zabell and a pioneer in coastal cleaning with children.
The Ecomar Foundation has been organizing coastal and beach clean-ups with children since 2007.
