The mandate of GMR Varalakshmi Foundation is to develop social infrastructure and enhance the quality of life of communities around the locations where the Group has a presence, currently around 20 locations across India. The Group believes that educational attainment, proper health status and decent livelihoods are important pre-requisites for a better quality of life for the communities and hence the CSR work mainly is focused in the thrust areas of Education, Health and Livelihoods.
