Tre Kronor Legends vs NHL Alumni

Tonight, some of the most legendary names in hockey history are stepping back onto the ice, lacing up their skates for a game that brings the past and present together. At Avicii Arena, the Tre Kronor Legends face off against the NHL Alumni in a matchup filled with Olympic gold medallists, World Champions, and Stanley Cup winners. The best part? The game-used and signed jerseys from every player taking the ice will be up for grabs.

With two storied hockey institutions coming together, the lineup taking to the rink is nothing short of iconic. The Tre Kronor line-up features players like Henrik Lundqvist, the New York Rangers’ legendary netminder. Nicklas Lidström, a four-time Stanley Cup champion and one of the greatest to ever play the position, plays alongside Borje Salming, the Maple Leafs icon who paved the way for European stars in the NHL. Up front, Mats Sundin, the first European-born captain in NHL history and a Maple Leafs legend, leads an attack featuring Henrik Sedin, who defined an era for the Vancouver Canucks. 

For the NHL Alumni, Jari Kurri, a five-time Stanley Cup champion, joins Swedish great Pekka Rinne, the longtime backbone of the Nashville Predators. Additionally, all time great Esa Tikkanen also joins the fray, who to this day holds the NHL record for scoring two shorthanded goals in the shortest time.
