ASM Solidarité et SouriresTrue to its values of commitment and solidarity, ASM Clermont Auvergne has been working alongside local associations for several seasons to support charitable projects. Aware of its social role and in order to better establish this commitment, the club decided to create an association in 2008 (under the 1901 law). The primary purpose of this association is to support projects that help sick children or children in difficulty.
Three associations that have been supported since the creation of ASM SOS (ACTE Auvergne, the CMI of Romagnat and Auvergne pour un enfant), as well as charities that are supported by players, accompany the club’s association in numerous projects and financing. A board of volunteers, made up of representatives of the players, sports and administrative staffs, decides on the choice of projects and on the way they are supported.
All of the actions carried out by ASM SOS are financed by the association’s own funds (under the French law of 1901) thanks to various donations, sponsorships and charitable operations aimed at raising funds.
