Les P’tits Doudous de LensLes P’tits Doudous de Lens is an association formed by health professionals who aim to improve the experience of children, parents and carers in hospital.
Their mission is to improve the reception and well-being of children undergoing surgery at the Lens Hospital, to reduce their anxiety through games (tablets) and digital technology (virtual reality headset) before surgery. To do this, they create innovative actions to de-dramatise the moments right before surgery and offer gifts to each child after the surgery. All the local associations of Les P’tits Doudous finance their actions by recycling single-use materials in the operating rooms containing copper and stainless steel. Les P’tits Doudous de Lens est une association de professionnels de santé qui œuvre pour améliorer le vécu des enfants, des parents et des soignants à l’hôpital. Leur mission est d’améliorer l’accueil et le bien-être des enfants opérés au CH Lens, de réduire leur anxiété par le jeu (tablettes)et le numérique (casque de réalité virtuelle) avant l’opération chirurgicale. Pour cela, ils créent des actions innovantes pour dédramatiser le passage au bloc opératoire et offrent des cadeaux à chaque enfant opéré. L’ensemble des associations locales Les P’tits Doudous financent leurs actions par le recyclage de matériaux à usage unique dans les blocs opératoires contenant du cuivre et de l’inox.
